Executive Leadership Program Structure
  • Four-month program with classes meeting once a month for a full day. The 30-day span between classes allows each leadership competency to be exercised - like a muscle - and incorporated into the participant's personal leadership style and individual development plan.
  • Limited to 32 women, allowing for personalized instruction and focused coaching. Each session is a combination of individual, small and larger group interaction, learning and hands-on exercises.
  • Ideal candidate has 8-12 years progressive management experience with people, projects and budgets. Candidates ideally are enterprise-wide leaders or business owners who face intense competitive pressures, market-related challenges or major internal changes.
  • Candidates complete a 360-degree feedback assessment that provides a foundation for a personal leadership development plan.
  • Three one-on-one sessions with a professional career coach to accelerate development.
  • Focused sessions emphasize key factors in leadership effectiveness:
    • Self Awareness - your attributes, detractors and personal brand
    • Self Management - your emotions, impulses and the way you adapt to change
    • Social Awareness - your ability to sense, understand and react to others' emotions while comprehending critical social networks
    • Relationship Management - your ability to inspire, influence, and develop others and manage conflict
  • Each of the four sessions is hosted by an accomplished female executive in a mentoring role providing experiential learning based on her career (A list of past hosts is available).
  • Participants are provided on going coaching, feedback, encouragement, peer support and modeling, as well as opportunities for on-the-job practice.
  • Networking opportunities extend beyond the conclusion of the program through an extensive and prestigious alumnae network and refresher programs.
