Expectations of "Sponsor or Learning Partner"
Commitment to support applicant in ongoing learning and engage in applicants development through:
- Commitment to assisting and coaching you through the self-directed learning process
- Ability to challenge applicant to take risks
- Ability to observe applicant practicing new skills/behaviors and provide feedback
- Commitment to spend sometime with applicant after each session to debrief and discuss learning's, thoughts, roadblocks, successes, etc.
- Ability and willingness to provide comprehensive feedback regarding this program and its impact on applicants leadership
- Flexibility and the ability to stay open to change
- Commitment to help applicant connect classroom learning with relevant on-th-job initiatives, challenges or issues to maximize return on investment
- Encourage feedback from multiple sources throughout the program and provide suggestions of whom to seek out for feedback
- Desire to attend applicants graduation ceremony to help celebrate applicants accomplishments in this class!
