Executive Leadership

The winds of change are coming. Are you ready? We all know times have been tough in Michigan, with leaders of most companies wrestling mightily to weather the storms. Some will survive; some will thrive. The difference? A proactive leadership mind-set focused on the future, versus a reactive mindset focused on survival alone. It's a particularly tough time because the leadership skill-set required to truly succeed is a complicated one. A great leader needs to have the finest crisis management tools available, yet be able to facilitate strategic planning for the future. She needs to be tough, make hard decisions and ruthlessly control costs. Yet at any moment, the winds of positive change may blow through, resulting in a business game changer. Are you ready? What kind of leader are you? Are you proactively managing your portfolio of skills and abilities so that you are ideally positioned when recovery comes? Are you taking the right steps to help your company thrive, not just survive?
